A highly used beach by Windward community families, its sands are subject to large amounts of ocean borne debris. It was an eyeopener to see the widespread prevalence of microplastic contamination which require sand sifters to ameliorate. Rotarians collected tires, heavy ropes, and fish netting as well as an enormous variety of rubbish.
